Let’s talk about what ruins your metabolism more: dieting or stress?

There are various factors involved in metabolism, including:
• Your history of dieting
• Your stress level
• How much sleep you get
• Your age
• What you eat
• How often you eat
• How much exercise you get

It might surprise you that your metabolism is not actually ruined or damaged. The factors above don’t ruin your metabolism—they make your metabolism more efficient.

What’s happening with someone struggling to burn fat is that their fat cells are efficient. We need to force the body to waste more fat instead of being more efficient. On keto, you burn more fat and waste more fat.

Insulin is a fat-storing hormone that controls how efficient the fat cells are. When insulin is high, the body stores fat. When insulin is low, the body can burn fat. Our goal is to lower insulin.

When it comes to what’s worse for your metabolism and weight loss—past dieting vs. stress—the answer is stress.

How to fix metabolism and lose weight:
1. Lower your stress and increase your sleep
2. Start intermittent fasting and get on the Healthy Keto diet
3. Exercise
