In this video, we’re going to talk about what to do if nothing helps you lose weight.

I’ve run into some cases where a patient is trying everything to lose weight but just can’t seem to.

There’s an important question that I always ask: when did you start gaining weight?

Answering this question can give you a clue as to what is causing your weight gain and your inability to lose weight. Look at what you did just before you started gaining weight.

Some potential clues could be if you…
• Have taken antibiotics or steroids (especially at a young age)
• Have had a tonsillectomy or other surgeries and procedures
• Have been pregnant
• Went through menopause
• Had a serious trama or accident
• Are estrogen dominant
• Started taking insulin

Each of these could give you a clue as to what is causing the problem. Antibiotic use could mean you need probiotics, trauma could mean you need to lower your cortisol, and pregnancy could mean you need to rebalance your estrogen.

In summary, in most cases, Healthy Keto and intermittent fasting will help you lose weight. However, if you can’t seem to lose weight on keto, you need to look at what happened right before you started gaining weight. This can give you a clue about why you started gaining weight in the first place so you can address the root of the problem.
