In this video, we're going to talk all about weight loss and health. I want to cover why you should never actually focus on the weight directly, but the deeper issue.
Here's an example. Here's a guy who had a stubborn weight problem. From December to January, he lost three pounds. But, he lost seven pounds of body fat. How did he lose three pounds but seven pounds of body fat? Because you also have to look at his muscle gain. He gained seven pounds of muscle within that time.
He actually made a major health improvement because his visceral fat lowered, his fluids increased, his bone increased, his metabolism went up, and his body fat went down. It's important to look at the whole body and not just focus on weight.
The 3 things you need to know about weight loss and health:
1. Weight is a symptom. Never treat the symptom, get to the root cause.
2. You have to get healthy first, and then lose the weight.
