In this video, we’re going to talk about some common concerns about a high-fat diet.

When you first start the Healthy Keto diet, and you’re increasing your fat consumption, it can seem counterintuitive. How can consume more fat lead to less fat in your body?

Consuming fat does not make you fat. What controls whether or not you lose fat are hormones.

In the presence of the hormone insulin, you cannot lose weight. What triggers insulin? Carbohydrates (sugars), excessive protein, and frequent meals.

Fat is neutral—it does not trigger insulin. However, fat does supply plenty of nutrients—such as fat-soluble vitamins—that are necessary for health.

If you only consume low-fat, high-carb, and high-protein foods, you’re going to be hungry all of the time, and you’re going to gain a lot of weight because you will constantly trigger insulin.

If you want to really lose weight, get on healthy keto, and intermittent fasting. Give it a try and let me know how it works for you in the comments below.
