In this short video, I want to help you understand hormonal imbalances better by sharing a few key principles.

1. You can’t always rely on a hormone test.
It takes a tremendous problem in the body for a hormone imbalance to show up. Just because your hormones are normal doesn’t necessarily mean you’re fully healthy. You might not even have hormonal imbalance symptoms.

This is especially the case with the adrenal glands. 90% of the adrenal gland has to be dysfunctional for a problem to show up. There are also subclinical issues that can go under the radar. By relying on a test alone, without looking at all of the symptoms, the real problem might not be caught.

2. You have to ask what causes a hormonal imbalance. That’s what’s really missing in medicine. You have to ask and understand the hormonal imbalance causes instead of just treating the imbalanced hormones directly.

What causes hormonal imbalances?
Hormones are communications, and they create all kinds of different effects in the body. The gland is the thing that makes the hormone, sends the hormone, and receives the feedback from the hormone. But, the gland is also the most neglected. The gland is the root of most hormonal imbalance issues.

What can I do for hormonal imbalance?
If you have a problem relating to hormones, when you go to your doctor, ask them why it's happening instead of just taking a hormone. Taking a hormone may cause your gland not to work as hard anymore and instead depend on that hormone. You also need to support the gland with nutrition and even acupressure.
