Take Dr. Berg's Advanced Evaluation Quiz: http://bit.ly/EvalQuiz
In this video, Dr. Berg talks about how to deal with friends or family members that does not take your nutritional advice. The reason why they don’t take your nutritional advice is based on the French word “Idée fixe” which means fixed idea, “the preoccupation of the mind believing to be firmly resistant to any attempt to modify it, it is a fixation”.
This concept is basically the fixed idea of someone’s mind that they really are unwilling to look at something else and are only focused on their viewpoint. Usually, when you have the fixed idea about something, you are not flexible in thinking about new data despite the results.
Reasons:
• It basically conflicts to what they already know.
• People that have this fixed idea that they have to be right about and cannot be wrong.
• New data invalidates their information
False Information that Prevents Results:
• Eat Less – Lose Weight
• Everything in Moderation
• Fat causes Fat
• 8 Glasses of Water (H2O) to be hydrated
• Only MD’s can give you information on health
