In this video, we’re going to talk about some of the signs that you are in ketosis. Ketosis strips that measure ketones in your urine are the most common way that people confirm that they are in ketosis. Over time, your body gets very efficient at burning ketones, and you won’t excrete any excess ketones in your urine.

So how do you know if you’re in ketosis? Some of the key signs that you are in ketosis are:
Your cravings are gone
Less hunger between meals
Increased energy
Shrinking waist size

Your body can produce a maximum of 150 grams of ketones each day, which is less than half of your overall fuel. While in ketosis, your body runs on small amounts of glucose made from protein and fat, along with fatty acids. Ketosis strips do not measure the fatty acids, so they are not always the best indicator of ketosis.
