In this video, we’re going to talk about the health indicators that you should pay attention to when you’re on a ketogenic diet. There are various health indicators that are better than weight loss.
When you start on keto and intermittent fasting, focus on these indicators of health:
Energy
Sleep
Memory
Focus
Inflammation
Mood
Vision
Stress tolerance
It can be helpful to create a weekly log and rate each of these health indicators on a scale of 0 to 10. Each week you can re-rate the items to measure the benefits of keto and intermittent fasting. Focus on these health indicators, rather than weight loss. By creating positive goals and focusing on good health, weight loss will follow.
The best strategy is to focus on following the keto diet and keeping your carbs low. Keep your carbohydrate intake between 20-50 grams per day. If you consume fewer than twenty, you’ll lose weight even faster.
You should also focus on keeping your vegetable intake high and improving the quality of the vegetables that you eat. Many leafy greens are loaded with vitamin A. Vitamin A alone will help your vision, and your skin, and help with a variety of health problems.
It is important to stay consistent and give your body time to get healthy. It takes time for the body to adapt to using fat as an energy source.
