Is it a good idea to do intermittent fasting without keto? If you’re not doing keto, you’re probably consuming more carbs. You may drop insulin and even drop your weight on intermittent fasting alone, but you may not because the carbs could nullify the effect of intermittent fasting.

There are two things to think about: weight loss and your health. You could lose weight by dropping insulin, but there is a healthy and not healthy way to do this. You need to stay healthy as you lose weight by providing the body nutrients and considering the quality of the calories you’re consuming. I recommend keto with a lot of vegetables to be sure you’re getting a lot of nutrients.

If you’re eating only one or two meals a day, but those meals aren’t healthy, you could end up with nutritional deficiencies. You may lose weight, but not look very good. You also have to think about the toxic effect of foods. Grocery stores are filled with foods that have pesticides, herbicides, MSG, chemicals that are estrogen mimickers, or are GMO. These things could potentially set you up for cancer and other diseases.

Intermittent fasting is one tool to help promote weight loss as well as a healthy body. But, the keto diet is another tool that may help do the same things. I believe combing these two things could be the best way to go.
