In this video, we’re going to talk about organic foods on keto. How important is it to eat organic on keto?
What are organic foods? Organic foods are foods that contain no synthetic:
• Fertilizers
• Pesticides
• Antibiotics
• Food additives
• Irradiation
• Sewage sludge
• Genetically modified seeds
Organic livestock is also only fed foods that are not full of harmful additives.
There are different levels of organic, including 100% certified organic, standard organic, and partial organic (50-98%).
Organic foods still use pesticides, but the pesticides are typically more natural and less toxic.
There’s a key difference between Healthy Keto and normal keto. A standard keto diet will help you lower your insulin and run on ketones. Healthy Keto includes these benefits but also supplies your body with vital nutrients and helps you avoid bad ingredients.
Ideally, you want to be doing Healthy Keto with organic, nutrient-dense foods. However, even normal keto or dirty keto is better than not doing keto at all.
