In this video, I’m going to tell you how to do keto, even if you can’t fully commit. It’s okay to start working towards your ideal diet, even if you know you can’t or don’t want to do a ketogenic diet all the time. You can still follow a healthy keto diet some of the time while avoiding unhealthy foods the majority of the time.

Here are the foods you definitely want to avoid, even if you can’t do keto:
• Soda
• Juice
• Candy
• Donuts
• Diet soda
• Canned fruit
• Combinations of meat, sugar, fat, and starch
• Fat and sugar combinations

Avoid soda, juice, candy, and refined carbohydrates, especially those that contain high fructose corn syrup or other sweeteners like dextrose. Avoid meat and sugar combinations like hamburgers or fried chicken and sauce dishes that you typically find at Chinese restaurants.

The following foods are not approved for a keto diet, but are okay for moderate consumption if you can’t do keto:
• Potatoes, sweet potatoes, yams
• Rice
• Small amounts of dry alcohol
• Fruit
• Beans
• Unsweetened yogurt

If you’re working towards a ketogenic diet and you find that you’ve gotten off track, there’s a few things that you can do to repair the damage. Electrolyte powder and wheatgrass powder can restore potassium levels and other vitamins and minerals that may have been depleted.

If there’s a holiday or social event that comes up and you know that you can’t do keto, simply enjoy your event and get right back on your keto diet plan when it’s over.
