In this video, we’re going to take a look at one of the biggest dieting misconceptions. Beginners often think that weight loss is equal to fat loss, but this isn’t true!

When you first begin a diet plan, most people lose a lot of water weight in the first two weeks and then plateau.

Try these two dieting tips to speed up weight loss and avoid a plateau:
1. Deplete stored sugar
2. Reduce your carbs

To deplete stored sugar, you need to eat less frequently by doing intermittent fasting. This will reduce insulin spikes, allowing you to burn fat and lose weight.

Focusing on things like eating less fat, higher protein intake, a plant-based diet, or simply “eating healthier” will not help you nearly as much as reducing carbs and depleting stored sugar.
