What are the best fat burning foods? As you age, you may notice your metabolism changing. This can cause a lot of extra body fat. So what do you do? Many start counting calories. But this is not the right focus. Instead, you need to focus on hormones.
Certain hormones control your weight. Some hormones trigger fat storing, while others promote fat burning. Certain foods can either promote weight loss or prevent it, depending on how much you have. Take a look.
Protein:
3-4 oz/meal will trigger fat burning. 7-10 oz/meal will trigger fat storage.
Fat:
Healthy fats can help promote weight loss. Unhealthy fats like fried foods can affect your liver and prevent fat burning.
Carbs:
All carbs, sugars, and refined grains will promote fat storage. Avoiding them helps with weight loss. This includes things like juice, flavored yogurt, and alcohol.
Stress:
Stress triggers cortisol, which can throw off your insulin levels and prevent fat burning. Fat burning is not possible with elevated insulin.
For the best fat burning, I recommend doing keto.
