Today I want to cover the benefits of bentonite clay. Bentonite clay is a volcanic ash-type clay product that's filled with all sorts of trace minerals. Bentonite clay gains a super strong negative charge when you add water. It acts like a magnet. It has a property called "adsorption," which basically means it will attract up to 2000 times its weight.

When doing a detox or cleanse, you may want to consume this to help absorb toxins (such as heavy metal toxins or poisons) and pull them out of the body. It's also used topically in certain things like facial masks (with charcoal) to pull out toxins while saturating the body with trace minerals. Bentonite clay may also be great for poison ivy, eczema, and psoriasis.
