In this video, we’re going to talk about what seven to ten cups of salad looks like.

I recommend a minimum of seven cups of vegetables every day while on a Healthy Keto diet.

Vegetables are essential for supporting your vitamin, mineral, and phytonutrient intake.

You need 4700 mg of potassium daily, and consuming seven to ten cups of salad each day will help you get closer to this requirement.

How can you measure seven to ten cups of lettuce?

You can measure your lettuce with a measuring cup or simply grab a handful. Each handful is about one cup.

A standard 5 oz bag of salad contains about five cups of lettuce. Two bags of lettuce would satisfy your daily vegetable requirement.

Always have your salad first—then have protein and other nutrients.

Salad dressings can contain hidden sugars, carbs, and GMO oils—so keep an eye out of unhealthy ingredients or make your own dressing at home.

Avoid corn oil, soy oil, and canola oil. Instead, choose sunflower seed oil, safflower oil, and olive oil.
