Let's talk about the top signs of gluten intolerance. Gluten is the protein part of certain grains. The problem with gluten is that even though it's a protein, it can create a lot of havoc on the digestion system. It may even trigger conditions like MS.
This video doesn't really apply to people doing the keto diet because if you're on keto, you're not consuming gluten. But, there are some so-called keto-friendly foods now that actually add in gluten protein. It's important to consider how you feel after eating and try to pinpoint the foods and ingredients that could be causing you problems.
9 important signs of gluten intolerance:
1. Bloating or abdominal pain
2. Constipation or diarrhea
3. Headaches
4. Fatigue
5. Skin issues (dermatitis or psoriasis)
6. Joint pain or muscle pain
7. Numbness and tingling in the arms or legs
8. Brain fog
9. Anxiety
If you have any of these symptoms, you should ask yourself if it could be gluten causing the issue or maybe something else.
A few other things that can cause these symptoms:
• Omega-6 fatty acids
• Lectins
• Oxalates
• Phytates
• Soy protein isolates
• MSG (modified food starch)
