Today I want to go over a few foods that some people consider healthy that aren’t actually healthy.

So-called health foods that aren’t healthy:
1. Energy bars or protein bars
Clif Bars contain 21g of sugar.
Larabars contain 18g of sugar.
These bars can actually make you tired. Some contain certain things that will affect your blood sugars, including:
• Oats
• Fruit
• Dates
• Honey
• Molasses
• Maple syrup
• Brown rice syrup
• Cane juice

2. Granola bars
Certain granola bars contain 29g of sugar, which may be in the form of high fructose corn syrup.

3. Low-fat yogurt
Certain brands contain 45g of sugar per cup.

4. Vitamin Water
Contains sugar or fructose and synthetic vitamins.

5. Fruit (dried, canned, or juice)
All have a lot of sugar and may contain high fructose corn syrup. They may not have much nutrition left either.
