When people think of ketones, most of them automatically think about fuel for their bodies. But the health benefits of ketones go far beyond just providing energy.

Here are some of the numerous health benefits of ketones. They:

● Reduce appetite, keeping you from getting hungry and ruining your diet
● Reduce oxidative stress. Antioxidants help counter the oxidation that leads to body breakdown and aging. It’s a similar process to a car rusting out.
● Calm your sympathetic nervous system, helping you sleep better, calm down, and reduce anxiety
● Reduce arteriosclerosis, also known as hardening of the arteries. It can lead to high blood pressure. Ketones can make your arteries elastic.
● Have anti-inflammatory properties. This is significant for arthritis, autoimmune conditions, and all inflammatory conditions. If you check out drugs, the majority of the money that people spend is on anti-inflammatories.
● Increase your oxygen (O2) and decrease carbon dioxide (CO2), helping you breathe better
● Offer cardioprotection. If you have a bad heart or damaged heart muscle, ketones can bypass your other fuel system and go straight to feeding your heart muscle.
● In fact, your heart, brain, and nervous system love ketones! They are neuroprotective. People with Alzheimer’s or memory problems can benefit from ketones.
● Deprive cancer. Cancer lives on glucose. It can’t survive on ketones.

Now you know just how beneficial ketones can be for your health.
