A few lexicalized (former) CL3 examples in ASL / Classifiers / Depictive Signing (L07) (Dr. Bill)

Lexicalized classifiers are former classifiers that through repeated usage and standardization have become regular signs:
What are some signs that began as classifier 3 predicates?
Remember: These are not classifiers any more. They are standard signs.
Just as a butterfly is no longer a caterpillar, these signs are no longer "classifiers."
Just as at one time a butterfly was a caterpillar, these signs are one time were classifiers.

Lexicalized CL3-based signs:
AWKWARD
GARAGE
ACCIDENT
PARKED
PARKING-LOT
INVEST / INVESTING

*I'm going to say this for the third time since some people don't pay attention. That is a list of regular signs, not classifiers. They probably started as classifiers though and became lexicalized (accepted as regular signs representing specific concepts).

Intended audience / prerequisite: Individuals who have who have completed the equivalent of two or more ASL courses.

It is recommended that you complete Lessons 1 through 30 of the Lifeprint (ASLU) Curriculum (or equivalent such as having completed a college-level "ASL 2" course) prior to watching this video.
