In this video I will solve the theta function (zenith direction, y-z plane) part of the Schrodinger equation for the wave function for the electron in the hydrogen atom. This differential equation is more complicated than the phi function (azimuth, x-y plane). We will also continue to find the solutions for each of the cases for the values of the principle quantum number (n), the angular momentum number (l), and the magnetic quantum number (m(l)).
