In this video I will explain why it is so hot on Venus. It has to do with 1) how much Sunlight is reflected by clouds and the surface, 2) how much of the solar radiation is absorbed by the atmosphere, 3) how much radiation reaches the surface, 4) which greenhouse gases are in the atmosphere, 5) the blackbody curve for surface radiation. 6) the size of radiation window to space (transmittance), 7) the heat transfer mechanism: convection currents and evaporation, 8) the rate and location atmospheric radiation, 9) the density and amount of atmosphere, and 10) the proximity to the sun.
