In this video I will discuss impact craters on Venus. Just like volcanoes, impact craters are found everywhere on the surface of Venus. Impact craters range in size from 3-280km and no craters are less than 3km. The typical ratio of the size of meteor to the size of crater is 1:10. Over 1000 craters are distributed evenly across the surface. Every 300,000 years (on average) Venus was hit by a meteor ranging from 100m to 28km across. We can assume Earth suffered a similar fate.
