We will learn how in 1927 Albert A. Michelson devised a brilliant experiment that calculated the speed of light to be v=299,796km/s. That is an error of 0.001% of the actual speed of light in a vacuum v=299,792.458k/s!
(Part 1) We will learn how Michelson “measured” the distance=?? between the traveled path of the light. The distance between Mt. Wilson and Mt. San Antonio (Mt. Baldy).
(Part 2) We will learn how Michelson measured the time=?? for the light to travel between Mt. Wilson and Mt. San Antonio (Mt. Baldy).
