In this video I will explain fluid dynamics in an imperfect world where the fluid flow in pipes are affected by: 1) increase in length increases the friction force; 2) increase in roughness increases frictional losses; 3) decrease in diameter increase frictional losses; 4) increase in velocity increases frictional losses; 5) laminar vs turbulent; 6) shape change/obstacles-bends, valves, fittings, obstructions. Note: Friction forces tend to be non-linear (except length).
