(#7) We will learn how scientists show the universe is expanding. In 1922 Alexander freedman used the general relativity equation the universe is expanding; 1927 Georges Lemaitre calculated the expansion of the universe, 1929 Hubble used the Mt. Wilson Observatory to measure the Doppler sift of the galaxies and formulated “Hubble’s Law”.
