We will look at a 2-tailed test where the average weight of the student is 120 lbs, sample size n=100, sample mean=118.8 lbs, with a level of significance=0.5=5% and standard deviation of 6: null hypothesis=120 lbs, alternate hypothesis not=120 lbs. That means the students average weight can be greater than 120 lbs or less than 120 lbs. Do we reject the null hypothesis?
