WAN Termination Points Explained. These are also known as Demarcation Points or Demarc for short. This is part of the CompTIA Network+ N10-008 Full Video Course for Beginners.

In this lesson we tackle the topic of WAN Termination or more specifically "WAN Termination Points". These are commonly also known as Demarcation Points and is generally the point where you provider's network ends and your network starts. This will often be a box of some kind outside your house or office which is called a Termination Box.

In this lesson I also explain some other components on the inside of your network like the ONT (Optical Network Terminal) device which is also known as CPE (Client Premises Equipment).
