Power requirements when agitating/mixing is a very important aspect to consider. We want to decrease the Power Requirements, but we also want to improve our mixing/agitating processes.

Baffles are a very important aspect to consider… In general you will increase mixture while increase power requirements. For laminar flow, we have greater loads of Power Requirements vs. the turbulent flow which has lower rates. At the end of the class we discuss a little on Newtonian Fluids vs. Non-Newtonian Fluids.
