Fittings are common in long pipes, specially when we need to do a specific task such as rotate flow 90º, Expansion, or take the flow to a tank. These are common operations that you should be familiar with

Expansion/Reduction
Elbows
Valves
The calculation is pretty similar to the one of friction wall.

Hf = K*V^2/2

NOTE that K is pretty similar to the product of f.f*L/D HINT
