The roughness of a material is a property that measure how even the material is. If we want to compare between different sizes, materials and pipes; we gotta make a “standard” comparison
This is done with the Relative roughness which is a simple calculation between the ratio of the Material Roughness and the Pipe’s Diameter.
Once you are able to compare between different pipes, we will then calculate relations between friction and relative roughness!
