Pressure is essentially Force, acting over an area.

Force may move objects, therefore create Work. Work is energy. Therefore, PRessure may be considered as a potential energy able to do work.

We consider High Pressure as a “quality” energy. Whereas the Low Pressure means no potential to do work.

It is important to remark that we will use P/ρ in the course, which has units of J/kg or m2/s2
