Spark Streaming Tutorial With Spark Streaming Example

FROM SPARK TO FINISH !!-A STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE TO SPARK STREAMING - 360digiTMG
Are you a techie who has spent days trying to write Spark Streaming source code? Or a software professional upskilling to Spark from Hadoop and Mapreduce? If you are either of the two then this video on Spark Streaming is the solution to your problems.
This video is an eye-opener on the Spark Streaming process and teaches the student to develop source code for the same. This video has been prepared by Mr. Sharat Chandra Senior Data Scientist and Director INNODATATICS (US). He is a trainer with 360digTMG- the training arm of INNODATATICS ( US)
Apache Spark is an open-source cluster computing framework for large scale near real-time processing developed by Apache Software Foundation. Spark is a Big Data tool that provides an interface for programming entire clusters with implicit data parallelism and fault tolerance. It can be efficiently used as a batch and real-time analytics tool.
This video compares the performance of Spark and Mapreduce and proves that Spark is ideal for large scale live data stream processing. It is superior to Mapreduce and Hadoop in terms of speed and in-memory computation
This video describes the Spark Ecosystem which is built on a Spark Core that provides utilities and architecture for the other components such as DataFrame API, Spark SQL, Spark Streaming, MLlib, GraphX. It describes the unique features of each component but the main focus is spark streaming and how to code programs that will enable spark streaming.
Spark Streaming is the efficient processing of real-time streaming data ( Big Data). At the core of the Spark, architecture is the Resilient Distributed Dataset ( RDD).RDD is read-only multiple sets of data items that are distributed over a cluster of machines. This video explains the methodology and network architecture of Spark Streaming. It explains how RDD's are abstracted from the live data input stream by Discretised Stream Processing, discusses how they are processed and interpreted by way of results. A very impressive feature of Spark Streaming is how fault tolerance is ensured and executed. The logic behind fault tolerance is explained schematically.
The key highlight of this video is the source code that is developed by the trainer Sharat Chandra to execute the Spark Streaming process. A live example of source code for an application using Spark Streaming is recorded in this video.
