OEL 7 Installation with Custom Partition | Guest Additional Installation and /etc/hosts Config #04

OEL7:
=====
1. oel7node1 VM configuration
--- 3 network adapters (Bridge, Bridge, NAT)
--- Display VBoxVGA
--- General section – We selected bidirectional (for clip board and copy paste)
--- Shared Drive – Softwares directory between Win and VM

2. Installed OEL7 OS
--- 3 network (Public, Private, Internet)
--- SWAP partition (4000 MB)
--- /boot partition (1000 MB)
--- / partition (Rest all Space)

3. We Installed Guest Additional CD

4. reboot

5. Install the additional prerequisite rpms

yum install oracle-rdbms-server-11gr2-preinstall
yum install oracle-rdbms-server-12cr2-preinstall
yum install oracle-database-preinstall-18c
yum install oracle-database-preinstall-19c
yum install bind* -y
yum install oracle-validated
yum install oracleasm-support

6. set /etc/hosts file

Install OEL:
--- OEL 5
--- OEL 6
--- OEL 7
--- OEL 8
--- Creating custom partition
--- Creating swap space
--- Install guest additions CD image
--- Install the system Linux prerequisites rpms
--- configuration of /etc/hosts
