Learn to draw shoes creatively with a piece graphite tied to a stick. Learn to have more fun and be more creative with your drawing. This is the first in a series of easy drawing tutorials on drawing and sketching creatively. In this art video I am going to draw my shoes but with a piece of graphite attached to a long stick, a method used by the great artist Henri Matisse. This means you will have little control over the line you draw or sketch which creates a really interesting line compared to that produced by a pencil held in the hand. You will have to take a risk, a great antidote to nice neat drawings.
Once the basic drawing has been done you'll learn how to create line and tones in lots of exciting ways to create a drawing that is more imaginative and creative than conventional drawing. This type of drawing or sketching is aimed at beginners wanting to extend their drawing and sketching techniques.
