Clear GST RCM Suspension Turnover Confusion in Tally ERP 9 Release 6.1.1, clear if turnover less than 1.5 Corer then Reverse charge (RCM) on purchase from unregistered dealer (URD) is Applicable or not, same if turnover greater than 1.5 Corer then Reverse charge (RCM) on purchase from URD is Applicable or not. In Tally ERP 9 Release 6.1.1. The GST Council in its 22nd Meeting decided to suspend the Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM) in case of purchases by a Registered Dealer from an Unregistered Dealer u/s 9 (4) of the GST Act. In this matter, government has issued notification no. 38 – dated 13-10-2017. Remember RCM U/s 9(4) has been suspended up to 31/03/2018 by Notification No. 38 date 13/10/2017. Explain the impact of Reverse charge transaction in Tally Release 6.1.1. An option Enable tax liability on reverse charge (Purchase from unregistered dealer) is provided in Tally new release 6.1.1 to activate reverse charge calculation whenever reverses charge on URD purchase is needed.
