Account Executive

One of the most exciting roles in sales is the account executive. Any account executive acts as the quarterback of a business development deal. It's the Account Executives (also known as an AE) job to maintain the client's relationship and make decisions on which other team members they should bring into the deal. Account executives will also lead sales meetings, demos, presentations, and negotiations. And of course, Account Executives will be paid high commissions for closing significant deals for the company.

Sales & Business Development Representatives

SDR and BDR are the unsung heroes of sales. They're the ones who actively look for new clients to work with and generate meetings for account executives. Without SDRs and BDRs, and AE will have nothing to close. Sales and business development reps will typically generate meetings with clients via cold call, cold email, and LinkedIn.

Account Manager

Once a deal is closed, and the account manager's role is to make sure the customer is happy with the product and service they've just purchased. The Account Manager (also known as an AM) is also responsible for upselling and renewing customers.
