Sequential Compression device course,
in this course we will learn about the operation and techniques of using the Sequential Compression Device (SCD) to prevent deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and improve circulation. The course covers proper selection and application of sleeves, adjusting pressure settings, and understanding sequential inflation patterns that promote blood flow toward the heart. Participants will also explore the importance of SCDs in post-surgical recovery, reducing swelling, and preventing blood clots in immobile patients. Emphasis will be placed on patient monitoring, troubleshooting common issues, and maintaining hygiene to prevent infections.
