in this course we will explore the diverse spectrum of symptoms associated with cystic fibrosis (CF), a genetic disorder affecting multiple organ systems. Students will delve into the respiratory, digestive, and other manifestations of CF, including chronic lung infections, respiratory distress, malnutrition, pancreatic insufficiency, and infertility. Through case studies and clinical examples, participants will gain insights into the underlying pathophysiology of CF symptoms, such as dysfunctional CFTR protein and mucus hypersecretion.
